I was so excited to have my phone back I decided to dork it up big time and take a few picture during lunch to send to a friend. My new phone, which is the same model as my old one, works a ton better than my old one. I think this stability/performance enhancement can be attributed to the fact that I have yet to install any 3rd party applications on the phone. I have read a few articles criticizing Apple for restricting the majority of 3rd party applications for the iPhone to be run only in Safari, the web browser. I would like those same people to experience the nightmare of issues my old phone suffered, which I now attribute to 3rd party programs screwing up everything.
Everyone knows what it's like to have your computer crash, but it's a million times worse when it's your cell phone. To have it happen multiple times a day only because you installed some stupid program you had to pay for is not cool at all. Just like I don't think Verizon is cool. The replacement phone they allegedly overnighted on Friday (a week ago), which the representative said was too far along in the shipment process and I would have to send it back once it came, still hasn't arrived.
I want to buy an iPhone in the fall. Hopefully by then a new generation will be out and even if theres not, it will be something to make up for the cold weather.
I am very tired and a tad tipsy, good night.
