quick update
June 25, 2007 - 12:6
- everything
-I cooked some sauce and sausage that my mom made for a friend and myself. It was SO good, duh. It made me feel a lot better. I am now @ %100.
-Softball game tomorrow, it's gonna be like 90 out. I'm excited. I think we're gonna work the other team.
-I got to go swimming tonight...obviously awesome.
-The CD of pictures for the band contained nothing at all!
-I cleaned the house.
-I am so incredibly excited for the iPhone. I don't even want to see one until I decide it's appropriate to buy one, but all I do is stalk pictures of it online.
-I got the photo bar navigation thingy for my main page to work %100. I finished it like a few days ago, I think Thursday, it uses %99 JavaScript, %1 PHP, %0 AJAX methodology. It is still under index8.php . I will release Splash 8.1 soon.
-My next computer project is a new photo album, I will likely wait a few more days to really dig into it. With everything I have recently learned regarding JavaScript, I need to really wrap my brain about what I am looking to accomplish. This is definitely one of my bigger/more important projects.
-I would say this site is less than %50 complete.
-verizon still sucks.
-good night to everyone on the outside.
oh, I'm actually going to post an email I got today from a friend, it's like a picture, but with words. This is the entire email, unedited:
1. At the gas station, pumping gas, when the car next to me starts rolling toward the street. I see a child in the front seat and think she must have thrown the car into gear while her father was inside paying for his gas. I run to the car, jump in while it's moving, hit the brakes and save the day. For the first time in my life I felt like Kevin Sommer.
2. The Corporate Challenge is tomorrow. It's a three-mile road race in which people from companies all over town compete. It's going to be about 95 degrees when race time hits tomorrow, so I got one of our interns (who happens to be a D1 sprinter) to run in my place. Best part - my name gets printed in the final results.
