- random - Shrek 3 - Ira Hayes - LOST
I am very much in content at this exact moment. For the first time in a few weeks I am not rushing to get work done on the new site. I have a head full of issues and pending improvements that are way overdue, but the site, although sometimes cumbersome does allow some of the very basic tasks I set forth to accomplish.

Since I did not have the desire to blog about nothingness while I had a whole bunch of alotness to work on, there are many topics that I usually like to discuss which have recently been the subject to some negligence on my part. In the name of sanity, decency, and pure logistics; I will not attempt to write about every random nothingness thought I have had over the past few weeks. Instead, I will spread things out a bit...when the well gets dry, maybe I'll dip into some crazy stories, like HOW CHARLIE DIED IN LOST! YESSSSSSS!!!!!.

How funny is that. I start talking about some "crazy" stories I am saving in my back pocket, and as an example, I start talking about a TV show. Just the other week, a girl on my softball team is like, "You must watch a lot of TV"...I was like, "Ummm, OK, whatever that means"...and then she is like, "Well you always write about them in your team emails". OK, you got me. But ladies and gentleman of the jury, let's put things into context here. First off, for the record, I do not watch a ton of TV, I just REALLY enjoy the few shows I watch, and I try to share this enjoyment with those around me. LOST, Office, Heroes, ROME, Entourage...yes, I like these TV shows, I like them a lot...yes I am American. What good American wouldn't enjoy the shows I just named? None I know. You see, the biggest factor in the reason behind why I talked about LOST so much in my weekly coaches email to the softball team is that the majority of our games have been on Thursday...hence my email went out on Wednesday...hence my brain was only thinking about that nights episode. Since everyone on my team is American, I assumed everyone else was thinking the same thing. Finally, the only other example of references I made to television shows was a comment I made about a team who's name was "Gym Class Heroes" and the fact that they were likely frauds, since I knew what real Heroes are capable of and doubted that I would see anything cool when we played them. And you wanna know something? NOT ONCE during that game did ANYONE do ANYTHING even close to what I see on NBC's Heroes...thus my allegation of fraud, thus the fact that said allegation was correct. People really just need to sit back and let me do the driving sometimes.

I saw "Shrek 3" tonight...I liked it a lot. It followed the general feel and flow of the previous two installments of being a satire on childhood fairy tails, and thus left this kid satisfied.

I saw "Flags of Our Fathers" the other day. I enjoyed that one a lot too. I have always enjoyed the Johny Cash song about Ira Hayes, and now I know a little bit more about him...as well as Iwo Jima.

I saw some really crazy stuff over the extended Memorial Weekend we are all still recovering from, but this is neither the venue nor audience for such stories.

In closing, I leave you with a cute little picture of Pugsley. I have a stock collection of Pugsley pictures to last me a lifetime, and he reminds me of the baby Shreks in the movie.

From the inside, out, good night.
