Things have been pretty busy lately. I've hosted some company at the house since Sunday. It was very fun but going out every night, even if only for a little bit, definitely made me kind of tired. My brain stopped working a few hours ago :-(
I don't have any plans this weekend, and I couldn't be anymore thrilled. I'm going to New Orleans next weekend for a bachelor party. I'm going with some of the craziest people I know, so that will be very interesting/exciting. If it rains this weekend, I will hopefully put in a lot of time in with some of the video projects I have been working on/thinking about. I am still in the initial stages of getting totally comfortable with the CS3 Production Premium stuff but I am happy to report that just a little while ago, I was able to accomplish an idea that I have been thinking about over the past few days. I didn't really accomplish implementing the idea, but I now know it is possible, and I now know how to set it up. There are so many different areas to dive into with these programs, it can almost be overwhelming.
I went through some videos the other day when a few friends were over. I would say that %30 percent of my footage is inappropriate to ever be reproduced, %40 is appropriate for a limited audience, and %30 is appropriate for everyone/anyone. I think that as time goes forward, points will be taken away from the percentage of footage that is inappropriate and will be given to the percentage that is appropriate, for a general audience. Contributing factors in this prediction include the fact that I can not imagine the next 10 years of my life producing as many inappropriate video moments that the past 10 have produced. Luckily, the entertainment value of video does not necessarily decrease with it's inappropriateness. Wasn't that interesting.
I am going to goto bed now. Here are a few pictures I took with the iPhone today when I was in NYC. Today was the first of many travel scenarios involving the iPhone. I am not disappointed with it's performance. I used it constantly throughout the day, including an episode of The Office, a few hours of music playing, phone calls, pictures and many emails. At the end of the day, I charged it on my train ride home, as it said the battery was @ %20. This is very acceptable.
Worthy to note is the fact that I ran into an old buddy from home at Penn Station who was taking the same train I was. We had an entertaining ride back.
Good night.
