There are a few handful of people who have heard the phrase "Blaine World" more than a few times. We can't get into it's origins or even it's meaning, but we can leave it at the fact that it can mean a whole lot or a whole lot of nothing. The reason I bring it up because I got s little dose of my own "Blaine World" this past Saturday evening while hanging out with a some people at a little birthday party I was attending.

So I'm sitting there on a bar stool in the living room and a girl out of no-where says to myself and some people I was talking to, "Do you know who David Blaine is?". I was like, "Umm, duh, Blaine World, he's only like the coolest half man half alien magician alive". Then she started talking about some You Tube videos of a dude impersonating David Blaine, we proceeded to the computer to check out said video, and to make an uninteresting story short, David Blaine came up out of nowhere in the middle of an otherwise normal evening...

So the night continues on, I'm hiding the fact that I am already a tad shaken by the fact that someone was just talking about David Blaine, when out of no where I get floored with question almost as striking as the first! Another girl, again out of no where, asks me point blank if I like Christopher Walken (my other favorite famous person!). I was like "UMMM, DUHHH, who doesn't like the coolest actor in Hollywood?". Then she went on about how awesome he was as I just sat there in awe. Not in awe over the fact that someone else recognizes the amazing talents of C'dubs, but the fact that within two hours, two random people inquired about two other random people that I hold so highly. Crazy stuff, which I guess can only lead us to say one thing with absolute certainty, It is a Blaine World. :-)

A few quick talking points:
-LOST: tonight, can't wait!
-Heroes: I didn't watch this weeks episode yet...I did purchase the 'Season Pass" on iTunes for this show and "the Office", so I plan on getting caught up very shortly.
-The Apple guy came over today, the iMac is all set and running great!
-I am currently downloading Boot Camp, as my copy of Vista arrived today! I look to really only fool around with the new OS and hopefully be able to fire up a few games...I will let you know how it goes!

And in closing, I leave you with a tasteless picture a friend sent to me Sunday morning...I think it is a reenactment of him and his roommates....
